It is half a block from downtown Sandpoint, 6 miles from Schweitzer Mountain, and within walking distance to Lake Pend O'Reille and City Beach Park, as well as shopping, dining, Farmer's Market and most everything else Sandpoint has to offer. There is a mural of the Schweitzer Basin in the living room that was painted by Russell Kotschevar, a well known local artist. He also carved "Pend O'Reille Pete", which is displayed at US Bank just a couple of blocks from the house. "Pete" is pretty famous and travels to various exhibits from time to time. The property has a small, grassy front yard and there are large, beautiful trees lining the street. The back yard is small and completely fenced with an outdoor firepit.
