Brand new luxury 'old style' privately owned cottage located in the spectacular and unique surroundings of Snaefellsnes on the west coast. Approx. two hour drive from Reykjavik. The National Park is only 5 min away. Enjoy the magnificent views of the glacier Snaefellsjökull, the surrounding mountains, and over the bay Faxaflói from the 100m2 patio surrounding the house. The 97 square meter house is on two floors and built 2010. The quaint cottage is one of few cottages designed as Icelandic houses from 1920's.
The house can comfortably accommodate 6 people. There are two separate bedrooms on the second floor, one with a King size bed, and one Queen size. The TV/DVD corner on the second floor has a sleeping sofa, and the sofa in the living room can also be changed to a big double bed. There are plenty of things to do and see in the area such as: beautiful hiking, whale watching, sailing around the many islands, historical places, bird watching, skiing and sightseeing on the glacier.
