Your friendly hosts, Nora and Roger Bennett welcome you to their lovely home in Kamloops, British Columbia in Canada's beautiful Thompson Okanagan region. The Wedgewood Bed and Breakfast is situated on the award winning Sun Rivers public golf course. It has three charming guest rooms: the deluxe King room, the upstairs Queen room, and the main floor Queen room. Tasty breakfasts include fresh fruit, homemade muffins and a hot dish.
The King and Queen rooms open into a spacious lounge area on the top floor. The Main Queen is situated on the first floor. All rooms feature private bathrooms, televisions and crisp linens. Smoking is outside only.
Golfing, skiing, hiking, mountain biking and fishing are some of the great outdoor sports that continue to attract visitors to this sunny climate. Boasting over 2,000+ hours of sunlight annually and only 270 mm of rain, Kamloops is the perfect location to work on your swing, especially since it hosts Golf Digest's 'Best New Course in Western Canada 2003,' Sun Rivers. And, just a 45 minute drive away is Sun Peaks Resort, an award-winning ski resort with three mountains and a great new village. Don't worry, they get ample precipitation up there - the average is snowfall is 220 inches/559 cm/18.5 ft!
