Villa - House to rent in Marigot Caribbean French Lowlands St. Martin

This charming home is located in Terres Basses, an exclusive residential area of French St. Martin. Las Palmas was recently purchased by new owners who have done much refurbishing during the summer of 2004. The house has been completely retiled and painted and has some wonderful new furnishings. A privacy wall with electric gate enter into the new gravel driveway from the private road Falaise des Oiseaux.

La Palmas is perfect for two couples with its two king bedrooms, each with private bath, at opposite ends of the house so privacy is assured. Each bedroom has air-conditioning and is furnished in white rattan with accent colors of blue or yellow. There is a large living room, dining and kitchen area between the bedrooms.

The living room and dining area are furnished with colorful rattan and bright cushions. Air-conditioning has been added to the living and dining areas as well. Large sliding glass doors provide a wonderful view overlooking the back deck, extensive gardens, the sea and Marigot. There is a satellite television, VCR and portable stereo with CD player in the living area as well. A small outdoor dining area with a glass top, wrought iron table and chairs overlooks the free form pool.

Teak loungers surround the pool providing a wonderful, secluded space for sunning. On the other side of the villa is a large shaded deck with wonderful views of the ocean and Marigot, the capital of the French side. This deck offers a teak dining set for up to six people and an outdoor sitting area.

The grounds and gardens are extremely well cared for and lush tropical plants surround the villa. The villa is a 10 minute drive from the popular Maho area with it's shops, restaurants and Casinos and just 15 minutes to Marigot.
