'Vasciano', our second home, has its own private pool and is between Florence & Rome in hills above a quiet unspoilt farming valley. Within easy reach are Florence, Rome ,Cortona, Assisi, Siena, many other medieval towns, art, architectural treasures, restaurants, Lake Trasimeno and a variety of leisure activities. 'Vasciano' overlooks old olive terraces, fields, oak woods, hills and valleys with ancient tracks and offers a choice of complete relaxation, physical activity or intellectual stimulation. We have completely refurbished this old farmhouse, to combine original features with modern comfort and convenience. It is furnished with many local farmhouse antiques and personal items. The house has an individual feel with a sense of beauty and calm. On three floors it sleeps 6 comfortably. Outside are a covered pergola, terraces, garden, pizza/ bread oven and the private pool (sole use) has views of distant rolling hills and a 13C church. The house has many steps and stairs so it may be unsuitable for anyone unsure of their footing.
