Many years ago, returning from Canada, we transormed a 5 acre vineyard into a beautiful wooded park and built a few houses for holiday makers of whom about 2 thirds have become regular guests. We are about 1 Km from the beach, about 1 mile by car or bike. About 500 meters from the beautiful castle of "Château Valmy" surrounding of vineyards, there are also performances of bird-shows and sometimes musical events. A nice promenade leads to the château. Then we are about 1 Km from down town Argelès Village and Argelès Plage.
The outskirts of the Pyrenee Mountains start right behind the castle and the tall ones of 3000 meters are to be found in one hours drive - our mountain paradise with many lakes and creeks. This in addition to the fabulous coastal-line.
