Cheerio is situated in the beautiful Cheerio Valley in Magoebaskloof admist mountains and forrests. The area is host to the annual Azalea & Cherry Blossom Spring Fair. Cheerio is an ideal stop over to the Kruger and other private game parks as it is a comfortable drive to the mid and northern section gates. Accommodation is provided in fully equipped self catering chalets and B&B rondavels. Fishing is in 3 dams on the property or in the Letaba River. The Letaba River property also hosts the adventure activities of abseiling, canyoning, tubing and quad bike riding. Walking, birding and biking can be done from both properties. Other attractions in the area include the cycad & tree fern forrest at Modjadji, home of the Rain Queen, waterfalls, dams, natural forrests, tea plantations and generaly striking scenery. Horse riding, golf and 4X4 trails are in close proximity.
