From Varenna's central position one can easily get to all other locations on the lake, such as Menaggio and Bellagio, the most elegant and international town of the Lake of Como, located just between the two branches of the lake. The lake of Como itself and the nearby area offer the best in skiing, windsurfing, hiking and bicycling.
